IMPLEMENTASI KEPEMIMPINAN DISTRIBUTIF DALAM MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVITAS MANAJEMEN MADRASAH

This study aims to analyze the implementation of distributed leadership in enhancing the effectiveness of madrasah management in six madrasahs in Pekanbaru City, Indonesia. A qualitative multi-site research design was employed to explore leadership practices from the perspectives of school leaders and teachers. The participants consisted of 15 informants, including six principals and nine teachers, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and document analysis and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that distributed leadership is implemented through delegation of responsibilities, participatory decision-making, teacher empowerment, and collaborative management. These practices strengthen teacher leadership, organizational commitment, communication, coordination, and the effectiveness of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Nevertheless, challenges include unequal leadership competencies and the need for continuous professional development. The study proposes Islamic Distributed Leadership, integrating distributed leadership with Islamic values of shūrā (consultation), amānah (trustworthiness), ta'āwun (collaboration), and justice. The findings contribute to strengthening participatory leadership and improving the quality of Islamic educational management.
